Learned static characteristics (accuracy, precision, linearity, sensitivity, resolution, and hysteresis), measurement errors, and calibration of various motion instruments like potentiometers, LVDT, capacitive and inductive proximities, shaft encoders, tachometers, ultrasonic transducers, and accelerometers, force (strain gages and solid-state), pressure (barometers, diaphragm, bellows, and solid-state), and temperature (RTD, thermistors, and thermocouples).
For my final project I designed (MultiSim) and built (NI Elvis Board) an RTD temperature system with a LabView dashboard. This involved first balancing a wheatstone bridge for the RTD sensor and then building an amplification circuit with three op amps to then read the analog output voltage with LabView.
